getting a job under bankruptcy

i live in las vegas and almost all the hotels here do credit checks before hiring i was wondering if being bankrupt will affect my chances of getting a job

Well, if you have already been discharged, I don't see where they'd be worried as your bills are wiped out.

Of course, I looked around here for a job and saw that an armored car driver/delivery person must have a good rating and I think I know why...

It's just another slap in the face to a hard working person...

It depends on the job, technically, employers are not supposed to discriminate against candidates because of a prior bankruptcy. However, if the job entails directly handling money, it may be a factor.
