rent to own home or stay in lease
Chapter 13 was just confirmed and now wanting to get out of our small place and get into a house. The background info:
*Signed a two year lease before we knew we were going to file a chapter 13We have 17 months left on the lease. Want to move back to our old neighborhood that we lived before, for the kids. We sold that house in 2006 for a short sale. Now my husband makes more a year then what he made a few years ago. I know that we have to wait one-two years before we can a mortgage, but we don't know if we should do a rent to own home. There is a house for rent to own in the neighborhood we want, we just don't know if we should go for it or wait out our lease. My husband will be getting a bonus from work that would cover the down payment for the rent to own. And this is a house we would buy right now if we could. Just need a little advice before we make a decsion. Thanks!
