    Trouble?

I recently changed cell phone carriers. I had Verizon but they were extremely expensive and just turned my phone off for non payment. I want to include them in my BK. However, I got a new servce which is totally unlimited minutes and texting for a flat $45 a month! Anyways, I recieved a new phone number. The creditors don;t have it and my cell was the only number they had. Will this pose to be a problem? Like I'm trying to avoid them?

The biggest problem I see is that if they can't find you, they may start calling family, references... or in my case, my pastor!!!

Yes they only have my family's phone number but they are aware of my situation. I don;t have a job and they don;t have any other numbers. I never filled out a credit application for my debt! They were all just activate credit cards or blank checks recieved in the mail.

My new carrier is Metro PCS. They are just as good as Verizon. No dropped calls and always in service. Unlimited minutes, video txting, pic txting, txting and internet can't be beat for $45 a month! I mean there has just been announced another almost 50,000 job cuts again today

People change their phone numbers every day. Not necessarily to avoid creditors' call. While you're supposed to note any changes in your address/phone number on the back of the payment coupon, or online, there is no law that you have to.
