Exemption issue
I filed property exemption on my original filings. The exemption was filed with the county and recorded. A year later I needed to amend my chapter 7 schedules and the exemption was not listed on the amended schedules (error).
Trustee ended up selling the property. Now he is to close the case and does not want to give us credit for the exemption saying that the amended schedule did not list the exemption. However, it was filed properly and I never abandoned it.
Any help, please?? Should I object or I have no case.
