    New Here

    Hi all

I'm new here....been browsing for a couple of days and decided to join...

Here is my story....I'm married with 2 wonderful kids. Husband has a good job...and I DID too. My job doesn't know if they wanna keep a few of us working or lay us off. Its a week to week situation. Its been like this for about 2 years now. The price you pay for being low on the totem pole I suppose. The first 3 years of work I worked steady and made VERY good money. We also incurred a good bit of debt. The house we purchased is a money pit. No matter what we do to it..it just doesn't get any better. Now we are in about 105,000 in debt and my job is looking very gloomy. So after struggling for 2 years we have decided to file for bankruptcy. We have an appt on Tues Sept 27. We really didn't want to do this but we have no other option. Just want to start over and get a clean slate. If we let our vehicles go too we will be debt free and able to start rebuilding our credit. I am in the state of Maryland...if anyone has any advice I would be more willing to take it....and if anyone wants to say an extra prayer for us....we'd gladly appreciate it. Not sure how long we will have before they foreclose on the house and before they take the vehicles after we meet with the lawyer. Not sure what to do in that situation....

    Thanks for listening!!

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
