chapter 13 mess
hello, i filed chapt. 13 and my husband didn't. now after i have gotten confirmed our job situations are not good. my husband is finding it hard to keep up with the bills that are only in his name and wants to do a chapter 13 as i did. the question is what will him filing chapt. 13 do to my plan and can husband and wife have two separate chapt. 13 bankruptcy going at the same time in the same house. the other question i have is i am not allowed to get rid of any property in a chapter 13 bankruptcy and i am not allowed to incur any additional debt. that exceed 5,000 . we took out a loan on an automobile for 5,000 while i am in active bankruptcy and the place put my husbands name on the loan and i had to sigh because i am part owner. what will happen when my husband files and the courts see that we have a lien on an automobile that was listed as paid in full under my bankruptcy .
