Case Discharges Case open questions about paying off debit

Ok Im going to try to keep this short and understandable
We Got a discharge in Dec. finaly after 15 months and the case is still open.
We have an asset case I think forcloser and they got taxes of 07 and money from family that was trasfered before bk.
ok so my question is if it is discharged and we get a bounus in pay can they take that? they didnt last year.
we would like to pay off our car in the end of this month can we with out worry about them taking our car after we payin off?
Do we worry about buying things like ATVS? can they still take that after discharge?

It was 10,000.00 for moving expenses when we moved to a differnt state then I payed my family back and the trusstee didnt like that thinking I could have beed paying creditors instead.
If we would have waited just 2 weeks before filling it wouldnt have been on are statements and we would had to got through this mess. beacuse you only have to show bank statement for six months prior.
O well life goes on now we still have to pay our family back again but instead of it being 10,000.00 he only took 4,000.00 from my family to make are total for are funds to him 12,000.00

Wow ok just found out that we were discharged on dec.24.2007
I never was told by my scum attorny so it has been over a year fighting with the trustee how long tell it closed any one know?

Jodie you need to sign up for a PACER account so that you can check your case's progress. Many of us here have learned the hard way that we cannot trust what our attorney says.

Closure can come at any time. But if you are an asset case, it will not close until you have repaid the trustee and all the administrative paperwork is done.
