Just got a collection letter today, thought we included everything in our BK, but looking back at our paperwork I don't see this one anywhere....what's the best course of action? Obviously it's too late to include it in the bk, so I do I just make payment arragements and move on?

Are you discharged yet?
If not, you can amend the petition with the debt. If the original creditor is listed in the petition, you do not have to amend, just inform the CA that the original debt has been discharged.
If the debt is post petition, you owe it.Filed CH 7 9/30/2008

I have a similar situation. I received a letter from a law firm telling me that they will ask the arbitration firm, or whatever they are called, to drop the whole thing. I never knew my case debt went to arbitration and I don't even know who this law firm is, so of course, they are not on my petition. Has anyone had a similar situation and how did you handle this.Filed Chapter 7 Petition: 12/22/2008
