Has anyone done a Chp. 13 to Chp. 7 conversion pro se? If so, what were your experiences? My husband and I filed Chp 13 in Dec. 04. Since then I have had a surgery, causing me to be off work for an extended amount of time. We have missed a couple of house payments. We have an attorney who worked with us to help with a modification order. But we cannot meet the terms. We are going to give up our house and rent for a while and have decided request a conversion over to Chp. 7.
Problem is.....we have been trying to contact and get some response and feed back from our attorney now for over 3wks. We have decided to go pro se? Trying to figure out where to start. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
