Dh just got cut back and we can't make our bills now

I called my lawyer and we are 25 months into a ch 13. He says we should come in tomorrow and discuss converting it to a Ch 7 instead.

My question is what's the median income now for CH7? We tried to do a 7 to begin with and we were over the median so the court wouldn't allow it.

We're in TX by the way.

We were trying for a 13 also, even though the credit counselor we went to pre-filing, indicated that with our then-present income and outgo, we were more suited to a 7. Then when I lost my job, we had no choice.

Thanks guys. It looks like for a family of 4 we are right on the border. For a family of 5 we are below the median.

I just found out today that we are pregnant with baby #3 which is a HUGE shock/surprise to us. I'm assuming they will take that into account or no?
