I'm new to this thread and have several questions before filing.I live in Chicago. I have about 17000 in debt,cobination of cards,loans and a car repo. No house only rent and the only aset I have is a motorcycle that is paid off and is worth about4000. My questions I have is that the repo was a joint car loan with my ex-wife,in the decree i assumed responsibility of the car loan but cant pay it and havent paid it 2yrs old,if it is discharged can she sue me or go after me if they go after her??????
I have deffered comp which is about10,000 that work takes out of my check automatically but I cant touch untill i retire. Do I have to give this up or can they take it away????
