UST Motion to Extend Time for Objections

    UST Motion to Extend Time for Objections

    Understandable since today was the original last day for objections and I have my 341 moved to April 1st.

    Question is: Do I have to attend the hearing for the motion to extend the time? It's set for April 9th. Already going to be difficult to be at that amended 341 since I live and work in another city now. I made that work but was already pushing it with my boss.
    12/05/08 - filed pro se
    01/27/09 - case dismissed and closed - 02/24/09 - case reopened and dismissal vacated
    04/01/09 - new 341 scheduled
    6/02/09 - DISCHARGED!!!

    Do you mean that your BK was extended 30 days until April 9th? The only thing that happened with me was it was extended for 90 days and gave me a date , but it never said to appear until I got a supeona handed to me.

    Are they looking to dismiss your case?

      From what I'm reading of the motion I'm not in any sort of trouble and there are no questions of abuse arising. It's simply to give those who might object the proper 60 days to do so since my case was dismissed, closed and then reopened again. The UST motion is to extend the last day of objections to 60 days after my new 341 meeting. Kinda stinks, I really wanted this wrapped up this month but it's not the end of the world either. Just makes it last twice as long.

        Yeah, I hear ya on that Blank. I do not think that you are suppose to even go to a motion to extend hearing. I may be wrong. I dont think so.
