Pacer questions

I went up on the pacer site and am not clear as to just what you get charged for.

It says $0.08/page - is this a page you download or print out? $0.08 for every page you view - from home page to when you find what you are looking for?

I did a search but did not fine a sticky on Pacer - maybe need one? - jb

If you just enter a case number and it brings up the very basic info, name of debtor, case #, date of filing, date of discharge ( if discharged) date of last filing, that page look is free..

Everytime you access a page that is charged there will be a little box that says how much was charged.

Usually the fee for looking at a petition is 2.40 ( they cap it at 30 pages) if the pet is over 30 pages.

If you look at a case summary, it will be .08 cents.
You will know when you are getting charged for a view, it tells you.
