    Ok Moderator I need Clarification

It a simple question and I'm getting conflicting answers.

In CA can my spouse be held accountable even though her name doesn't appear on any credit cards or agreement and we were married long after I accured all my the debt?

YES, California is a community property state so what is your debt is her debt whether her name is on it or not.

      Hi,

If I may ask, what sources are providing you with conflicting answers? An experienced Bankruptcy attorney in your state could answer your question.

      Good Luck!
