I am going to be receiving a tuition reimbursement on my paycheck from my employer for $1800 in April. I will finish paying the lawyer and file in April. Will I have any issues with this ? I owe lawyer $900 and the rest I will catch up bills that are all due first of April like car payment, second mortgage, 300 power bill. etc. I know the means test will go from Oct to March if I file in April so I hope I have no issues with it. What do you think?

Sounds exactly right. Just make sure the funds are spent prior to the filing date so your bank balance matches the petition.Last edited by StartingOver08; 03-24-2009, 02:52 PM.Filed CH 7 9/30/2008

you should be fine. Just make sure you file in the same month you get the money or it will count for the last 6 months income. good luck
