Good afternoon, after my discharge I was able to receive my 3 reports. Some have completely taken a majority of creditors off but other are still listed. Can I request in writing that these others be removed since my public records show the Ch7? Also, the ones that I would like be removed still show how many times in the past 6 years I have been late.

If the late payment history is accurate, it likely will stay. The accounts should not show a balance owed or a currently delinquent status, as they're included in BK, but the prior history doesn't go away either.Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.
