Filing in 1 week...help

Hello,

I am finally filling out and printing the petition. I have some concerns though, i am expecting a refund for 1700, my husband just got a job 2 weeks ago at about 9hr. not much. I am also looking for jobs as well. Will file tomorrow or monday. We have been unemployed due to my son's health but now he is better and can be left to day care. Just wondering if this would affect the bk in any way...of course we will not even get close to the means test line.

The refund if you can't exempt it might be considered an asset.

If you are due such a large return I suggest redoing your with holding on your W-2s. In essence you are overpaying taxes by more than a 100 dollars a month, having that money in your pocket and available may help after bankruptcy.

I'm glad he has found a job, I hope you can find something soon too.
