BK and Government jobs.

I have been giving this question thought. Does anyone know if being able to work for the state of California in my case, or other government jobs is a no no if you file for bk?

I tested for a position and have been recently contacted from the state regarding job openings, and i was wondering if bk would disqualify me. I just don't want to get my hopes up to high.
