Can I reschedule my 341?

I am waiting on copies of tax forms and I need to have the paperwork into my trustee by Monday. I don't want to wait and hope they come on Monday. They should have been here a week ago. Can you reschedule a 341? My meeting is the 7th of May.

What tax info are you waiting for?

Is it a transcript from the IRS?


If so, I believe you can go down to the local IRS office and request a copy and they can give it to you there..

I am not 100% sure on that, but it may be worth a phone call to see. I think I read somewhere recently that you can get a transcript from the local office.

I suppose you could also call your trustee and tell him/her what is going on , that you are waiting for the documents in the mail and could you mail them or bring them to the 341 if they don't arrive before Monday.

If you go to the 341 and you don't have all of your documentation, the trustee will most likely just continue your 341 to later date.

Yes. You just go in to the local IRS office with your id and get a copy of the transcript.

Both of these people are right. I would defiantely do that then cancel your 341.
