Most likely, those are 2 agencies that will never speak, and even if they did, she could always claim that they were separated for a while and have recently gotten back together. Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

Know exacting where your coming from!!!
Years ago a friend of mine (had 9 kid - duh!) She was drawing public assistance on all 9 kids in Ohio - her husband was drawing on them in West Virginia also...
She worked a full time job in her maiden name......
Everything she owned was in his oldest boys name..(new car, etc)...
Finally it all caught up with her and she fled in the middle of the night with another man and her kids to another state to avoid prosecution.....
Don't know if the Feds ever caught up with her or not.
But "talk about milking the system" and us paying for it....
SHE LIVED GOOOOOOOOOOD........... for a long time...
Just my thoughts,

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

I'm not the type to play the "blame game" and blame others for my problems, but let me just say that I am paying $2000 a month in all combined taxes which are supporting these programs and if the government would take their own medicine and balance it's budget and do a better job stopping these abusers, I would have enough of my own earned income to pay my bills in full and not need bankruptcy.
Since NY is the "Cadilac of welfare states" there is a surplus of welfare money so the city and state advertise on billboards and radio adds to come and get it! I didn't think anyone needed an ad for this. Figured if someone REALLY needs it they can just apply and the local govt's can just give back any surplus money to the taxpayers.
Sorry about this reply, just venting my frustration with abusers.

Don't anyone misunderstand me. I'm not apologizing to the low life abusers! Just apologizing for drifting away from the "bk thing" which is what this forum is about.

The honest working stiff gets shafted... almost always as does the next guy... the mall business owner, who takes sixty-seven shafts daily from every stinking beureacratic level from the garbage company to the white house.
In every society we always pay the bills. I'm for a "POOR TAX". Impossible, huh. Where I work we are WELL paid and you can support a family of five easily on our one salary and alot of the guys wives stay at home. We had one fellow with eight kids, he turned down overtime and told the supervisor "if I work OT they'll take away my food stamps" (actual words). Needless to say within twenty four hours the food stamp office was notified that he had a new fifteen passenger van, a brand new Buick and owned a home and had plenty of overtime available. Within a few weeks he begging for more overtime.
And please no posts about his "situation", we don't get fired and most of us never leave our positions, most of us have known each other for more than twenty years at this point.Last edited by robivi3; 10-12-2005, 05:08 AM."You once asked me for advice.
