Dh spent a week in the hospital in April. Almost lost him as his organs were shutting down. Haven't received all the insurance settlements and/or medical bills. Aware of $500 deductible and $2,000 out of pocket expenses for Dh's Medical Insurance. I also had Skin Cancer Surgery in March and haven't received all the stuff on it too, but I have Medicare & a supplemental policy and my payments are usually small.
Read on a post where If I pay these bills before filing it could be considered preferential treatment. I would have never 'thunk it'...True??
