Has anyone had any luck with renogiating the loan amount on a vehicle? I am upside down to the tune of $10G on a vehicle which is financed through a second rate lending company.
I tried-got nowhere. Chrysler & Mitsubishi both gave responses along the lines of 'we don't do that'. Perhaps if you have a smaller lender, you'll have better luck.

Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.
If I could, I would try to redeem my car by getting financing through 722 Redemption lending, or whatever they are called.
Unfortunately, even though my car is a 2003 Ford Taurus, it has 83,000 miles on it, and the limit to go through them is 60,000 miles.
I could still redeem the car, but I would need to come up with about $4500 - $5000, which is the approximate trade-in value on the car. I owe almost $9, 000.
You might want to see if you can redeem your car at cost.
