My son had a car accident in Las Vegas, NV (home state), changing lanes, moving to his left and hitting a car. He had no insurance. This happen in Nov 2007. At the site there appeared no one was hurt. Now a collection agency is calling him saying property damage is $14,000 and personal injury hospital bill is $24,000. He has since joined the military (Sept 2008) and is now stationed in Mississippi. My question is, in Nevada the statue of limitations is 2 years for PI, does that still apply? Is there any rule for military out of state?
