    Capital One...Sneaky...

All this time that we have been not paying on our CC's, (4.5 years), and not once did they ever offer us a reasonable repayment plan. Well, now.... AFTER we filed a Chapter 7 BK, they are offering us a brand new credit card. To transfer the old debt as a "special purchase", so no interest while we repay the old debt. They will be so nice as to start us off with a $1 credit limit, and after our first payment, raise that to $50, and so on..... AFTER we filed! I say NO WAY!!! I think they are so sneaky. They aren't allowed to try and collect now that we've filed... so they pull this crap? I know we have the right to refuse, and can just throw mail away from them, but I think they shouldn't be allowed to make offers like this after someone files. I feel like it is still their way of trying to collect. Why couldn't they make us an offer like this 3-4 years ago? Maybe we could have worked out something like that before all the fees and crap were added....

Sorry for venting... this just made me mad... of course, I also had to laugh, their loss....

Anyone else get offers like this after filing? Just wondering.... Thanks for reading!
