How do I know if I was approved for the chapter 7? The trustee can no longer object--right? I only have 26 more days for anyone to object. Will I get a letter or something? Should I call my lawyer (and be put on hold for 54 minutes lol) THanks

I'm sure if there are problems, you would know. If the trustee were going to have issues, he probably would have submitted something to your attorney before the 341 or would have indicated his concerns at the 341.
Creditors can file objections if there were recent questionable charges, cash advances, etc. And if they were going to do that-they'd possibly contact your attorney first and try to work something out.
Waiting is not easy, but the end result will be your discharge. You should get that once 60 days passes from your 341.Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision. -
Hang in there, be PATIENT..... Good things come to those that WAIT.....
It should be over and you should get your discharge after the 60 day waiting period from the 341 meeting.
Its nerve wrecking, but well worth the wait.... so be patient...

I can't wait to build up my credit! Right now my scores are 643, 629, and 633. I know my bankruptcy hasn't been discharged and these scores will probably drop some more. I do have a couple questions about how the bk should be reported. See my thread in rebuilding credit if you have time. Thanks guys. You all have been wonderful.Comment
