I have a credit card with a zero balance. Can I use this credit card to register/pay for PACER. I guess I'm confused because I thought you weren't supposed to use credit cards if you are filing for bankruptcy. Is this only for accounts you intend to discharge? Is it better to not use a credit card to register for PACER?

You should not use any credit cards during BK. You could use a debit card, or sign up thru the mail. (Pacer is available to everyone, so even though its often used by BK filers there are others who use it too-such as attorneys.)Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.
