Found out today that my case has been discharged and closed. I had filed with the presumption of abuse box checked, due to a bonus that put me over the threshold for filing a 7. Honestly, the whole process went very smoothly. There was no extra involvement with the U.S. Trustee beyond my lawyer initially contacting them before filing about my case and their issuing the determination that dismissal of my case would be inappropraite under the circumstances. I am ecstatic that this part is over, now if only the foreclosure on the house that I walking away from would happen as quickly.
