I am very serious about filing chapter 7 bankruptcy and am really stressed out because I dont have enough money to file an attorney. Is it legit to file online? I saw this place online but didn't know if it was real or just a way to file the forms. This is the place signheredocs.com [Removed Active URL] I just found it through google and I did contact them. Has anyone else filed online or have dealt with these guys?

In most online cases they just prepare paperwork with numbers you provide and then your own your own. While for a simple bankruptcy that can work it is not ideal.
You could look into filing Pro Se, it will require hard work but you can do it if your willing to learn, many have successfully done it.
Another option is to find a lawyer that might work Pro Bono and see if you would qualify for their reduced rate. Legal Aide if they have an office near you might could suggest a suitable lawyer.May 31st, 2007: Petition Filed by my lawyer

September 4th, 2007: Discharged and Closed.

You still need to file your own paperwork. No one but an attorney can actually file the case electronically. All these online services do is prepare the docs for you based on the information you provide, but they provide absolutely no legal advice or guarantee beyond that the documents will be accurate based on the info you provide.
I have a feeling this is a spam post...but I removed the active link.

Cheaper than what? You are comparing apples and oranges. Is it cheaper, as far as price goes, sure. Are you getting the same benefit or value vs. hiring an attorney, absolutely not.
Here is a good thread about the risks of filing without an attorney
As for being spam, 99% of the time, if a members FIRST post contains a URL to some related service, the member is a shill.
