Well, I had posted a couple of weeks ago about a problem with the Post office delivery of my BK Filing. On 10/13 they tried to deliver it, it was not accepted and notice was left. To be sure I got it in by the deadline, I dropped of a Skeleton Filing at a Courthouse that was accepting the filings on the 16th. I included a cover letter with the filing explaining the situation.
I called Monday after receiving the an Order to Update to tell the clerk that my paperwork should already be in the office. She said not to worry that it would be caught and not entered twice.
Of course my case was entered twice. I am waiting for a call back from the clerk supervisor to tell me what I need to do. It was implyed that I may have to file some sort of motion. I hope I do not have to do anything. It was because they did not accept the delivery I had to drop off the skeleton filing in the first place. I am wondering if they scheduled 2 341 meetings for me since I have two judges assigned to the case.
The Clerk who is handling the first case (Skeleton) is saying the filing date is 10/16 but Voice Information is stating 10/20.
Hopefully I will hear back on this soon. I just want assurance that there is one case and that it is listed as filed under the old law.
