    Listing Expenses per Gov't. Standards???

I would like some help in clarifying a question that still is confusing to me. What do the bankruptcy courts/trustees go by to determine if your expenses are out of line? I live in Las Vegas, NV and filed prior to the new law effective date of 10/17. I have seen the IRS chart for determining the "One Person (which I am) National Standards". It seems unrealistic, at least to me. Is there a better source for this info.?

If you filed before the new law took effect, those expense restrictions do not apply to you.

So, does that mean I can use the actual expenses, less unsecured CC payments to determine my monthly needs? I was instructed to not pay the credit card payments since they are the ones listed to be eliminated and were the main cause of filing the Chp. 7. Even without the cc payments I was living on borrowed time!

List your actual expenses. If that puts you in the red, that means you either need to earn more money or spend less money. Or you could borrow or take "gifts" from others, but that probably won't go over well with the court.
