Bankrupt GM Dealership

Hello...I have a question about a check I wrote out for car repairs I had done at my local GM car dealership. I find it odd that it's been two weeks and the check has not cleared my checking account yet. They are in the GM bankrupty but do they have to send all the money they make to the government now. Is that why it's taking so long. Just curious.

Cynical response - spend the 20 bucks or so to put a stop payment on the check and see what happens....
