Just read my Pacer entry from my 341

Just read on Pacer that the Trustee found mine to be a no assett case and there are no monies or properties to distribute and that he has performed his duties and requests this case be discharged Now I know I still have to wait the 60 days at least, but what a relief. Thank you to every single person on here who gave daily support and information. I honestly would not have known what to expect and even though I was nervous, I felt informed. Very informed. Every question that I was asked outside the standard stuff, someone had mentioned here and even though my lawyer poo-pooed my questions before the meeting.... those questions came up. It was you guys who prepared me for my 341, my lawyer was great, don't get me wrong, but he was not the one going through this, I was. And the support of this board was the most valuable resource and I just happened to stumble across it. THank you evey single person who wrote and didn't even know I was reading.... THank you from the bottom of my heart. You guys are the greatest. Can you feel the love

Tickled pink for ya!!! Glad it went so well, and you were all nervous and upset worrying...

Most bankruptcies are like yours, no assets, discharged, and over shortly.

Mine was a case of "clerical errors" leaving the door open for the Trustee to DO HIS THING......take stuff.

I can imagine the relief you feel, I would shout from the rooftops... It has to be a great feeling!!!

Hats off to you for "hanging in there", now you have a "fresh start" and can start rebuilding your credit score back up.

This forum offers help in rebuilding your credit too. Just takes a little reading time to learn the ropes.

If you have questions, ask, we'll help if we can, if not we'll find someone who can!

    Best of luck, Congradulations!!!

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

What is a no asset case? Does this mean you don't have any assets, like a home or car? I was hoping to get clarification so that I know what category we will fall under.

No asset means that after you claim your exemptions, there is nothing left for them to sell...I think.
You may keep a car or house on which you are paying, but there is not mpre equity in them then is covered under exemptions.

Yes, Concerned, Art is correct. After the legal exemptions, such as house full of furniture at garage sale prices etc, I signed to reaffirm on our home and basically I had NO assets. Kinda sad that after all my years of hard work it came down to this due to my own stupidity. But I am just greatful to have a fresh start and begin to build some assets instead of keeping my head above water, (actually drowned doing that) trying to pay debts that were never gonna get completely paid off.

Thank you all for your kind words.
