When does a foreclosure appear on your credit?

We filed 13 last month and are going to foreclose but we are still living here and plan to until next summer so we can get money saved up or until we receive notifcation that we need to leave.


Also, I have read several things about a two year hold on try to qualify for home loans after the foreclosure. Just wondering if this is true or if I can find more information.
