Hello I am new here and I have a couple questions. My husband will be filing for bankruptcy not sure if he will qualify for chapter 7 but thats what his goal is. Anyhow I am not filing, I knw that on the paperwork he has to give our checking account #, which is a joint account. I have a saving account different account number only under my name but it is linked to that checking account #. Will the trustee try to take that money I have about 8k in my savings acct. I'm not sure how his filing will effect me oh and we live in Florida.
