Has anyone every dealt with this (community property state)

I am thinking about filing bankruptcy (Ch7) in Idaho and am trying to figure out how to value property in a community property state. I am married but have decided to file singly because all of the debt is in my name (prior to the marriage). Since all our property is jointly owned, is it right to list that I only have 50% ownership in it? Has anyone ever dealt with this.

I'm not familiar w/ community property laws! This would probably best be answered by a local attorney.
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

Still trying to get an attorney to talk to me. Apparently after the new laws went into effect, attorneys are no longer answering questions over the phone (at least not around here). I have to set up a consultation which will take about a week. Idaho has a pretty high filing rate right now. The attorneys and the courts are overloaded.
