    Pacer updated

My 341 meeting was 11/14. I was one of the unfortunate ones that had an extension filed, the Trustee said it was to get 2005 tax return and gave them to everyone who filed pro-se. I checked Pacer to see if any updates were made and it says under status that I have an asset case.

I don't own a house or a car. I'm wondering what could possibly be seen as an asset? Does this mean he's objecting to my expenses or would that be entered differently? If he was objecting to my expenses would I be contacted by him or do I just check Pacer?

edit: I just remembered that I mentioned to my Trustee that I forgot to put one bank account under my assets and that I would be filing an amendment to add it. It's a bank account that is all automated in deposit and payment for my student loan and never has more than $50 in it at any given time. Perhaps he's listed the case as an asset case until he takes a look at that account?

Possibly that asset the trustee is talking about is your tax return if you get a refund... that would change you case to an asset case also...

Did you file pro se and were you under the old laws?

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.
