New to site - Pacer status question and IRS taxes

Hello All. Thanks in advance for any help/advice!

I filed a chapter 7 in Maryland.

Pacer currently shows: Status : Awaiting First Meeting
Begin Date : 08/05/2009
Time in Status : 94 days

I have already had my meeting with the Trustee, back in September. I did try to include some OLDER IRS debt (older than 3 years)

Is this a normal thing or is something wrong? If the IRS does not allow my taxes to be discharged in the Ch 7 will they let my attorney know?
