I've been searching this forum for posts about allowable expenses in a 7 but so far have only come up with info for 13 expense allowances. I did see in a few places that 13's can claim the max IRS amounts but that 7's cannot.
If our monthly income only allows us to afford certain things, can the things we can't afford still be claimed in a 7? Such as home maintenance, clothing, and recreation for example.
I did read in one post that a filer in a 7 can only claim expenses that they can actually afford. So what do those who can't afford all of the expenses do? Just leave those spots blank on the schedule J? That doesn't seem right to me.
