Is Ford Going to say anything?

Ford is supposed to be picking up my vehicle here this week and have a couple problems with my vehicle - First off theres a big dent in the fender and there's no radio in it at all (I had a aftermarket stereo in it and it got stolen, never bothered to relpace it). Do you think Ford is going to say anything or will they not care?

    Any opinions?

They can't do anything about it, and the guy picking it up probably won't even notice/care.

Our truck had a cracked windshield (from 2 weeks after we bought it!), bald tires w/ threads showing, and a dent (Dh did it a year or so ago).

If the vehicle was leased - then your responsible for repairs..... you have to list this on your petition to get it discharged.
If you are surrendering the vehicle then "no problem" - they get it back no matter what shape its in....

I don't foresee any problems with turning it back in....

My suggestions are from "personal experience" and research only. Do not consider this as legal advice. Each bankruptcy case is different.

When Ford took my ex's car they didn't say anything about it, and there was no visual damage, only mechanical. This was over 10 yrs ago. Ford was the reason he was filing, they were using him over the car.

When we surrendered our van this fall, the windshield had a big crack in it (not from us), MAJOR mechanical problems, 3 crappy tires & a spare, and NO GAS in it. I don't know how the repo man made it down the block, ..... He did not use a tow truck we watched.

When Mitsubishi FINALLY sent someone to pick up the car we surrendered, I warned them ahead of time there wasn't gas in it. (It wasn't actually Mitsubishi, they outsourced the job I guess and someone called me to find out when I'd be home.)

I can't really complain-they never pushed for it. Its not like they threatened or anything. (We were current when we filed, stopped making payments after that.)

Welp, some repo guy came over yesterday and knocked on the door. Asked for the keys and drove it away. Quick, Easy Painless.

Now that thats over with now I just need to make it to discharge...
