Well, it's OVER!!!!!!!
I was EXTREMELY nervous.
Our court house had a waiting lobby full of people and seperate rooms for each trustee. So you had almost complete privacy which was nice.
My room only had one couple in front of me and me.
Their attorney was a cute blonde and he grilled them about their income because she averaged the last 2 months pay and not 12. When you average the 12, it came out higher. He said it wouldn't make much difference, but still kept prying.
This made me even more nervous.
So then I was up.
My case is pretty simple except I own an asset worth about $9,000 and my unused homestead exemption is about $9,500.
Trustee swore me in, asked name, address, and reason for filing.
Asked if I sold any assets in the last 2 years and I said nothing out of the ordinary course of business. In my business I buy and sell a few items a year, but he didn't pry into ANYTHING!
That was it!!!!!!!
I suppose something else COULD come up in the 60 days, but I would be shocked.
I wasn't even in the hot seat for 2 minutes!
Does it sound like I should be OK here?
