    Any Advice For The UK?

Hello, I wonder if you can offer any words of wisdom or advice to the many people in the UK that are now considering bankruptcy? My name is Sean Tyrer and I am a Senior Advisor with Myvesta UK a not-for-profit debt help organisation. In the UK the number of people that see bankruptcy as the only way out of debt is starting to soar and we are often asked if it would be possible for other people that have filed for bankruptcy could share their experience of this particular strategy. Having looked at this forum it seems to me that their is a wealth of first hand experience here and I was just wondering if any members would like to assist people in the UK by sharing their own experience of going bankrupt in our own forum on our website. <link removed>

I hope that I have not broken any forum rules by posting this message but I genuinely feel that you could really assist british people who are considering this option as the awareness of bankruptcy is much less widespread in the UK. I hope you can help?

    Many thanks for your time

    Kind regards

    Sean Tyrer

I would think the emotions involved would be similar-regardless of location. I would be a little nervous offering advice or suggestions to someone in another country, though, as the processes and requirements may be very different.
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.
