341 meeting is thursday

Hi I will be going to my 341 meeting this coming thursday and I am wondering what I should have with me as far as paperwork. I am doing this on my own. Yes a bit nervous.. I know I should have my SS# anything else??

Only SS# and ID Card are required in California Central District, but other documents may be required in other states.

My lawyer had me bring my ss card and dl along with my copies of all the paperwork filed with the court. I was not asked for anything else. I did have to refer to my schedules for certain questions such as how much money did you make last year.

SS card and ID here in Illinois.

For my own piece of mind, I brought all my papers. There were things I heard Trustees asking for, that my trustee never asked me for . I heard of trustees extending cases for additional paper work. I figured I'd beat him at his own game , so I brought everything, I DID NOT want to come back and wait longer. Needless to say he didn't ask for anything, but I felt better and had a piece of mind.

Confirming what Pink Amulet said. Mine is also Thurs. and I asked my atty and they said just bring DL and SS card. Also said that business casual is fine vs. coat and tie. Good luck.
BTW, mine is at 2:00PM CST...when is yours? My trustee has 4 cases scheduled for ever 15 min. period. Art

SS card and DL or state picture ID. Do not bring cell phone or anything that can be construed as a weapon. My keychain with a bottle opener was apparently a weapon, could not be taken in the courthouse. You may want to take a copy of the documents you presented in your case for reference, or at least familiarize yourself with them to a T. And unless you were asked for any additional documents, just go in with a belief that bad things happen to good people, and knowing you never wanted this to happen. Let this guide you through your experience and shed any guilt or ill feelings that you anticipate. The trustee is there to do his/her job, and thats it. Don't sweat it.

I had my 341 last week-filed pro se. I called the trustee on Monday (meeting was Thursday) he was not in and no one in his office would talk to me-sent me to his voice mail. I left a message stating my name, case number and meeting info an asked if I was required to bring anything. Never returned my call. I took a copy of my paperwork that was filed, last 3 pay stubs, last 2 years tax returns. Was never asked for any of it. You will be fine. I was sweating it and it went very smooth!

I really do appreciate all your supportive mails I am trying not to get all worried.. I am doing this by myself... My meeting is 9am.. I always paid my bills it's just getting harder to keep up in life.. your kindness is nice to hear..
