today, collection calls from banks resumed after 6 weeks of silence from them. i have not recieved any bills for about the same amount of time.
the calls started at 8am and continued through the day (from 626-666-2971, 757-533-7007, 716-651-3170). two of the callers hung up after i said hello. the agent that did speak told me the amount of the debt, how many calls were made to collect, how many times i answered the phone...etc... i told him that i had filed for bankruptcy and that the 341 meeting was 3 weeks ago, and that he should have had notice of it. he asked me if i had an attorney (i am pro-se) and for the case number. the caller said he was from bank of america. i listed (2 different addresses obtained from the credit bureaus and bills) that bank on my mailing matrix and also sent a copy of the notice of the 341 meeting in the envelope provided for a payment after i had filed.
does anyone know why this bank is acting as if they had no knowledge of me filing for bk? does anyone know if there is anything i should be doing about it?
