    Avoiding Judgements

    I am filing for CH7. However, I have 2 arbitration hearings that will begin in a couple of weeks. Does anyone know the time frame for an Arbitration Award to become a judgement? I think I'm cutting this pretty close. My main concern is my employer being notified for wage garnishment.

    Arbitration moves very fast and seems to be geared toward creditors!

    well you are not protected until you actually file the bk petition.

    get an emergency filing done right away and use an attorney. creditors tend not to come after people with attorneys and it looks like you got 2 hungry ones.

    move ASAP imo.
