    341 - semi-over

First of all, news in last 12 hours. DW (2 time cancer survivor) has been having some infection/urological problems and had a CT Scan earlier this week. Last night we had a message on the machine..."Urlogically everything is fine, but we picked up an infiltration on the base of the left lung. We've faxed this over to your primary care Dr. Contact his iffice." Well, naturally we thought Lung Cancer and DW was in tears and I was weak in the knees. This AM we contacted not only primary care, but had the results faxed over to the oncologist. On the way to 341, oncologist calls in person. No worries. Prob. scarring from chemo, might be mold infection. She sees him a week from tomrrow and is already scheduled for labs and chest X-Ray before then. Greatly relieved we head on to 341.
Trustee asks everyone the same standard 8-10 questions until he gets to me. I am receiving quarterly payments which are similar to ins. agents renewal commissions and therefore would prob be seen as asset an seized by the Trustee. Paid quarterly, but averages out to about $1100 a month. Asks me several questions. Asks my atty why we weren't trying to "exempt" any of this amount. Atty. explains that we were viewing it differently. (Actually he didn't remember anything about it, but his legal asst/wife was there and she is on the ball). Trustee tells atty, "Well you know how I feel about it, Get me your case w/in the next 2 weeks." Asks me when next check is due...I say the last of Dec. He says not to cash it."
Outside we go over everything that atty did not remember and refresh his memory. He says Trustee and he are friends...that he is representing Trustee in another case. We bounce off several ideas and atty leaves us saying that he is confident that Trustee will alow us to keep at least part of it.
Time will tell. I guess that it is at least 2 more weeks (prob. longer) before I get to join the 60 day club.
BTW, nothing was said about us having 2 cars and a motorcycle.
Oh well, after the scare and then good news re: my wife's health, everything else falls into a different perspective. Art

Sorry to hear about the "scare".... we always tend to think the worst senerio..... Hope from here on out its good news for the DW....

    Your case now,

WHERE HAVE I HEARD "me and the Trustee are Friends"??????

Not when it comes to money, they aren't........

So your attorney better get on the ball, get the paperwork in order and find those exemptions you need and get it FIXED....... stay on him.......

    Keep us posted,

That's just not right BKFiler-you make him an honorary member and then put him to work? You probably expect him to buy the steaks, too!

man i cant catch a break here! staci is stressing me more then my 341 did lol.

aart: you are not required to buy the steaks. however, since we all dirt poor im not sure what we are gonna cook if you dont get something. at least some hotdogs. we will let stacii drink the hotdog juice for her dinner for all the trouble she is causing!

Damn, I can't catch a break! I get a job as a grill cook and Staci starts arguing over the food and takes the job away.
I start a thread and bkfiler and Staci hijack it with their flirting.
Now everyone listen up...I am an only child and this is all about ME!!!
Now get back to work consoling and/or congratulating me!!!
If'n you don't, yu're going to get nothing but charcoal briquettes in your Christmas stockings (and no lighter fluid)!
BTW, Did you hear about the man who was so mean that every Chrismas he took his kids out and showed them Santa Claus's grave? Don't make me take the 2 of you out there. Art

                          Ummm, I don't think so!

I miss the days when we could talk in code, and spell things out. Now, my son (7 going on 30) knows what we're talking about! Life used to be easier. I miss the good ole days, you know, when he was 5.

                              They learn so quickly.

My son has the tendency to state the obvious, and offer corrections if someone says something wrong. (Not in a mean way, kind of matter of fact type comments.) I wouldn't be able to get away with lying about my age, for example, even if I wanted to!

                              Uh-oh-wandered off topic again.

Aaaart-glad you made it thru this step. Keep on your attorney, not that you need me to tell you that!
