    Calif back taxes

    Okay, I truly feel like i have been thrown to the wolves with steak sauce all over me..
    I filed Pro Se so any advise would be helpful.

    I owed taxes for calif for 1995 and 1996 I listed this info on the bankruptcy had my 341 nothing was said about this all he wanted was 180 days of my 401.k. Low and behold I got this letter from Calif county Reg stating the follow:

    We have found the enclosed documents to be unaccepatable to have no provision in the California State Law authorizing recording. This office cannot advise you on how to prepare documents for recording. However, most stationery stores carry legal forms which may fit my situation[/U], and if properly completed, may be recorded. We suggest you consult your legal advisor.
    ---- This means what??? Paralegal did not know what it meant!!! I call California Reg they refused to help.. ( I guess they are not happy that I filed) And No Lawyer-----Anyone has any knowledge of this???

    who knows what that means lol.

    maybe its the wrong address? or wrong format but there isnt much to it, after all you are just letting them you know are BK'ing them.

    go look for taxagent and post in the tax forum and see what he says. he is a pro.

    the bottom line is if you filed your returns on time or there has been 3+ years past since you filed them and there is no fraud complained about then as long as you tell them via the bk petition then you are golden.

    ask taxagent and let us know the reply. hes a absoulute pro!

      post your address you used for the calif agency and we will see if anyone has the corrrect address.
