Now everytime I look it up it tells me I can pay to have instant access, I was told I am able to have a free report once a year is this true ? If so how do I get ahold of them ? what are there address's? Any help I would appreciate thanks gang. IN '06 I AM TELLING THE CREDITORS TO SUCK MY _ _ _ _ !

www.annualcreditreport.com is the website for the freebie. I don't know if it is one free per calendar year, or one free every 12 months.
Most of my information is from personal experience or HOURS and HOURS of online research. When you're searching online, keep in mind there is no guarantee that the info is completely up to date, and your situation is unique from anyone else's. Do your homework, and consult with an attorney so you can make an informed decision.

www.AnnualCreditReport.com is the "official" free site sponsored by the three credit reporting companies. By law you are entitled to one free report from each company every 12 months. As you go through it, they also offer you little added features for a fee. No need because you'll get everything you need from the "free" reports. Out of curiousity I bought my credit score. It gave me a number and told me I would have a hard time securing credit - oh really? - and gave me some basic credit repair advice that I had already read for free somewhere else.

I hate to say this, but I never got "Everything" as they wanted to charge me for the "Fico" score...Well, ya get what ya pay for...But man, that's cheap!

Geneco-the score is not part of the free report.

Yeah that's what I was refering to. All you would of got by paying is your score and a sentence telling you that you will have a hard time securing credit. You already know this though. Plus, they would of given you some basic advice on how to improve your score. Like "pay your bills on time"
