Creditors are paid now what?

I filed chapter 7 bankruptcy pro se online , very stupid I know . Long story short, Trustee sold my home and creditors 3 month deadline to collect was today 1/4/2006.
My question is after the deadline 1/4/2006 when could I expect what I call is my change..lol? Does it come by mail? I don't have a lawyer obviously and for the life of me and can't get around well with pacer.Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure-the trustee can probably drag it out. Out of curiosity-were you already paid your exemption amount?

Did you file before or after the new laws went into effect?

Don't down yourself by saying file pro se was dumb. Many of us, Staci and myself included, filed pro se. We filed under the old law and spent a lot of time educating ourselves before, during, and even now, after our discharge.

It would be helpful if you told us more about your situation. Staci's question about whether you received your exemption amount is important. Did the trustee seize your house because you didn't properly fill out the paperwork, or because you didn't want the house?
