    Forgot a card!! OOPS!

Well, my discharge from Chapt. 7 should be today.

Everything has went smooth, and PACER shows fine.

So far all 3 Credit Reporting Agency's are reporting my BK correctly.

While searching my credit reports, I stumbled upon an old Good Year Credit Card Account that I forgot I had. It's balance has been $0 for over 4 years, but was used Prior to that. It's still reporting paid according to agreement $0 balance.

    Here's the deal:

I forgot about this card and did not include it when filling out my BK forms.

The account is still open and in good standing.

Do you think that there will be any issues with this now that I am supposed to be discharged?

depending on the court and state you live in (standard disclaimer lol)...

accounts with $0 balances are accounts with nothing owed adn do not need to be listed. problem is that if they charge you a late fee for some reason then you could be owing it and wouldnt want to mess with a late payment showing up on your credit history after a bk while you are doing battle with them. thats the wost case scenario.

as for not listing them, some states have a 'opps i forgot to list them' law that says if you filed a chap 7 no asset then they wouldnt have gotten anything anyways so it doesnt matter.

you are safe imo. of course you are responsible for the charges from now on.
Im not an attorney or a trustee. You cant trust me either though!

Sounds like good times to me. Now you can go buy new tires there if you need to and make payments to rebuild your credit . But don't buy goodyear tires. Buy yokohamas, kumhos, bf goodrich. If all they sell is goodyear tires than nevermind. Just get your oil changed there, charge it and pay it off each time lol
