I will be filing Chapt 7. I had a BK (7?) around 1988 or so but I cannot find the case # or anything. My lawyer says not to worry about it. Do I need this info for the 341?
if you attorney said it doesnt matter then it wont matter in this case.

That long ago I doubt you will need anything. They can simply check PACER to see if you filed in the last 8 years anyway. If nothing shows up then you'll be fine.
During my 341 that was one of the questions asked to the filers by the trustee, had they filed bk before. If they say yes, he simply asked how long ago.
